AIDS Action Committee

Heidi is an Advanced Practice Nurse, board-certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Board for Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Practice. Heidi received her Master’s degree in Nursing from Northeastern University, and postgraduate fellowships in Behavioral Medicine, Program for Psychotherapy, and Couples and Family Therapy at the Cambridge Health Alliance in affiliation with Harvard Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry.

Heidi has worked both personally and professionally in the HIV/AIDS field for over 17 years. Heidi is an executive board member and has acted as the Principle Investigator for grant support for the Healing our Community Collaborative (HOCC), a nurse led-peer driven prevention and education for women infected, affected, or at risk for HIV/AIDS. Heidi joined the AIDS Action Committee (AAC) in February, 2006.

Heidi remains connected to the Cambridge Health Alliance outpatient Psychiatry Department and has a private practice in Cambridge as well.
